Overview:  Huge stamp collection of mint and used France stamps issued early 1850s through 1993.  Over 1200 stamps offered at less than one-third Scott Catalogue value. Some highlights:

* Scarce used early issues include Scott #1, other 1850s Ceres, Napoleon III issues (2nd Empire), 3rd Republic: Ceres identified by collector as 1870-71 Bordeaux Issues.

* Modern issues through mid-1970s; many mint singles and complete sets with high-quality engraving France stamps are known for. 

* Small quantities: semi-postals, air mails, tax stamps, a few Offices in China, Egypt, occupied Memel, Germany French Zone, etc., most mounted with regular postal issues.  Stand-out 18-stamp Conseil de L’Europe Officials set of 1958-71.  My favorite semi-postal stamp commemorating DeGaulle’s WWII letter to the French People.
