# UNV388-91 - 2007 UN Vienna Endangered Species
The fifteenth edition of the United Nation’s Endangered Species series features 12 species of primates. The Vienna stamps illustrate the Savannah Monkey (Chlorocebus aethiops), Long-nosed Monkey (Nasalis larvatus), Chacma Baboon (Papio hamadryas ursinus), and Patas Monkey (Erythrocebus patas).
Patas monkeys have shaggy red fur, whiskers on their chins, and white mustaches. They are also built like a greyhound and have a red tail almost the same length as the rest of their body. Patas are found only in Africa in savannah and dense woodland areas with lots of tall grass.
