The United Nations' Geneva office issued a CHF 1,00 stamp to celebrate UNISPACE+50. It pictures a stunning image of Egypt taken from the International Space Station (ISS) by astronaut Scott Kelly. The photo was taken during Kelly's one-year mission aboard the ISS from March 2015 to February 2016. He was commander of the ISS during this time and sent many outstanding photographs back to Earth. In October 2015, Kelly set a record for total number of accumulated days in space by an American astronaut – 520 days.
