The Endangered Species Series stamps for the Offices in Geneva include the large, red tomato frog of Madagascar, the large, flap-necked chameleon of tropical Africa, the tree-dwelling emerald tree boa, and the small Golfodulcean poison frog of Costa Rica. This frog is threatened by habitat devastation as forests are cleared. Populations of the frog are also reduced by capture for the live pet trade.
