Greetings from the United Nations
In response to the U.S. postal rate increase, the UNPA issued two personalizable stamp sheets in March. The 39-cent stamps depicted scenes at United Nations headquarters in New York City. The 84-cent stamps displayed sculptures from all three UN offices.
Tabs next to the stamps on the full sheet made these issues personalizable. The tabs held the UN emblem, but visitors to UN headquarters in New York could have their pictures taken and printed on the tabs in place of the emblem.
