The Space Shuttle Columbia was launched on October 20, 1995, from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.  On board was a crew of five NASA astronauts and two scientists.  The crew and scientists conducted experiments involving microgravity.  After the 15-day mission, the Columbia returned to the Kennedy Space Center on November 5.
