# MUS053 - 1964 Beatles Cinderella Stamps, Set of 5
1964 Beatles Cinderella Stamps
In February, 1964, popular UK band, the Beatles, appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, launching the musical movement in the US now known as the "British Invasion." Following their appearance on Sullivan's show, the Beatles made their way down the east coast, interviewing, performing, and entertaining thralls of crazed fans. "Beatlemania" had reached America.
To celebrate their fame (and capitalize on the fad) many products were marketed to fans. Hallmark issued this collectible set of Cinderella stamps featuring the Fab Four at the height of their newfound popularity. There's one stamp each for John, Paul, George, and Ringo, and one featuring the group. A great addition to any Cinderella stamp or Beatles fan's collection.
