1851-57 Issue 1¢ blue Franklin singles. Tied by black grid cancel and black November 13, St. Francisville, Louisiana circular date stamp cancel on cover to Woodville, Mississippi.
The first 1¢ Type IV single at left is position 94L1L, recut at top and at bottom with guide dot in plume at bottom right. The center 1¢ Type IV single is position 42L1L, guide dot in plume at bottom right and recut twice at bottom. This only occurred eleven times out of two hundred positions on this plate. The stamp at far right is position 55L1L, recut at top and at bottom with a double transfer.
