United Nations and First Day Cover Lot with some neat extras! – 45 Total Pounds

Contents include:

Lots of value in this lot! 200-300 United Nations folders with mint UN stamps. Approximately 200 US Souvenir Pages. Large portion of lot looks like it came from a dealer as some items are heavily duplicated and some of the UN folders are priced. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 pounds US, Worldwide & UN FDCs, at least 1,000 total covers! Some better first day covers I noticed were about 30 Famous American FDCs, #611, all uncacheted and addressed. I also spotted a 649-50 on one cover with green cancel from Civil Aeronautics Conference. One interesting group that caught my attention were five license/IDs issued by the US Dept of Commerce Bureau of Marine Inspection and Navigation, printed by BEP for Seaman Alan Nightingale of Plymouth, MA. Very neat!

Many more neat items to discover in this lot!
