About the stamp design:  This stamp pictures France’s Marianne l’Engagée (Marianne the Committed) definitive stamp from 2018 on the right side of the stamp plus the symbols of the Red Cross and blue and yellow Ukrainian flag on the left.  The text at the top reads “Unis dans la crise ukrainienne,” which translates to “United in the Ukrainian crisis.” 

Special design detail:  The original 2018 Marianne the Committed stamp design was inspired by Ukrainian Inna Shevchenko, a Femen activist who was given political asylum in France.

First Day City:  This stamp was issued at the Paris Philex Exhibition, a yearly philatelic exhibition held in Paris, France.

Where the donation for this stamp went:  The additional 0.84 Euro added to the face value of this stamp was sent to the French Red Cross to support Ukrainian refugees.
