Mint Stamp Tribute to Cinderella

Issued in 1987, this fun Grenada sheet of nine stamps was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Disney's first full-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  It features nine scenes from Disney's 12th animated feature film Cinderella, which was released in 1950.  After several years of poorly-received films, Cinderella was Disney's largest hit since Snow White.  It also popularized some of Disney's most memorable songs including "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo."
