Issued in 1998, this fun mint Gambia souvenir sheet commemorates Disney's 36th animated feature film, Mulan.  Released in 1998, the film was based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, a young woman who took her father's place in the army at a time when women were not allowed to serve.  Disney sent several of their artistic supervisors to China to gain artistic and cultural inspiration for the film.
