Get 100 First Day Covers Issued During the 2000s

In the 2000s, the digital age really took off.  We saw the increased popularization of the Internet as well as the introduction of such social media platforms as Facebook and Twitter.  E-mail also began to take over as the most popular way to send messages rather than sending a letter by mail.  The 2000s were also marked with the tragedy of 9/11 and the beginning of the War on Terror, War in Afghanistan, and Iraq War.  On a lighter note, communication was easier than ever as cell phones and texting became mainstays for most adults.  And the United States saw the election of our first African American president – Barack Obama – and the death of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Some of the stamps I saw in my set of 100 covers included the 2002 Semi-postal memorializing all those who died in the 9/11 tragedy, the 2000 Library of Congress issue, plus stamps from the Lunar New Year Series, Black Heritage Series, and more.  There was even a stamp honroing the bicentennial of the United States Military Academy.  Order your set today.
