Set of 3 Elvis Quarters

Three Elvis quarters to remember a few of his great hits from the beginning of his career.

Don’t Be Cruel - Released in July 1956
This was the first song that Presley's song publishers brought to him to record.  The single was released along with "Hound Dog".  Within a few weeks, "Hound Dog" had risen to #2 on the Pop charts with sales of over $1 million.  Soon after, it was overtaken by "Don't Be Cruel”, taking #1 on all three main charts: Pop, Country, and R&B.

I Want You, I Need You, I Love You - Released in May 1956
This was Presley's second number 1 single on the country music charts, and peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard Top 100 chart (an earlier version of the US Billboard Hot 100).

All Shook Up - Released in March 1957
The single topped the US Billboard Hot 100 in April 1957, and stayed there for eight weeks.  It also topped the Billboard R&B chart for four weeks, becoming his second single to do so, and also peaked at No. 1 on the country chart.
