Born in South Australia in 1951, Andrew Thomas was fascinated by space from an early age.  As his home country didn’t have a space agency, he moved to America hoping to fulfill his dream of going into space.  In 1992, he joined NASA and in 1996, he went to space.  While Australian-born Paul Scully-Power had gone into space before him, he was an oceanographer, while Thomas was a professional astronaut.

Thomas stayed with NASA for 22 years.  He flew four missions, spending a total of six months in space.  Now you can own a souvenir sheet honoring Thomas’ place in history – order yours today.
