These three coins were minted in 1984 to celebrated that year’s Olympic Games held in Los Angeles.  The front of the coins picture the Olympic Gateway, the entrance to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.  It shows two figures and the Olympic flame atop the entrance.  The back pictures a bald eagle clutching an olive branch.  Interestingly, these coins were designed by Robert Graham, who created the Olympic Gateway
