Mystic has permanently bonded a vibrant image of Elvis to this uncirculated US Half Dollar.  The coin features an original photograph of Presley from his estate’s official archives and is officially licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises.

I Really Don’t Want to Know

Elvis recorded “I Really Don’t Want to Know.” on June 7, 1970, at the RCA studio in Nashville. The song spent nine weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100, peaking at number 21. The song also reached number nine on the Country music charts. It was originally written by Don Robertson and Howard Barnes.

Donald Irwin Robertson got his first major break with the 1953 recording of “I Really Don’t Want to Know” performed by Les Paul and Mary Ford. Since then, major artists have recorded nearly 200 different versions of the song. The song has been translated and recorded in Spanish, Danish, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese.
In 1956, Don began his career as a songwriter for Elvis with the song “I’m Counting on You.” A few years later, Elvis invited Don on the first of many meetings where The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll expressed his admiration for Robertson as a songwriter as well as a pianist. Over the course of his career, Elvis sang 14 of Robertson’s songs, six of which were used in his movies.
