Elvis Presley is rightly called the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.  As a real Elvis fan, you love capturing your favorite historic moments from the life of the original American idol.  This coin preserves one of your favorite Elvis memories

Mystic has permanently bonded a vibrant image of Elvis to this uncirculated US Half Dollar.  The coin features an original photograph of Presley from his estate’s official archives and is officially licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Birth of Elvis’ Daughter

This coin honors one of the happiest days of Elvis’ life – the birth of his daughter, Lisa Marie.

Elvis announced that his wife, Priscilla, was pregnant while he was on the set of Speedway in July 1967. He proudly told reporters it was the greatest thing that ever happened to him.

On February 1, 1968, as Elvis and his wife prepared to leave for the hospital, he was so nervous his grandmother had to remind him it was Priscilla having the baby, not him. Lisa Marie was born at Memphis’ Baptist Hospital at 5:01 p.m. that day. A special police detail stayed at the hospital for four days until the family returned home to Graceland on February 5.

Lisa Marie has grown up to be a successful musician, activist, and humanitarian, much like her father. She helped found the Literacy, Education and Ability Program (LEAP), which provides education services and materials to help both children and adults achieve their goals. She also oversees the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation, which carries on Elvis’ legacy of giving and community support.

In 1975, Elvis purchased a Convair 880 jet and named it the Lisa Marie.
