# CN2010QP - 2010 United States Mint Quarter Proof Set, San Francisco Mint Mark
Get the Proof Set of the First America the Beautiful Quarters
This set includes the first quarters issued in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The program featured a national park or other national site in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or US territories. It began in 2010, and five quarters were released each year until the program was completed in 2021.
This proof coin set was produced by the US mint in San Francisco using a process that brings out the beauty of each coin’s design. The dies and planchets (the metal disks that will become coins) are polished before the coin is struck. This gives the fields (blank areas) a mirrored look and the image a frosted effect. Proof coins are struck twice, giving the coin a sharper design and rims. The proof sets are packaged at the mint and display America’s coins at their best. Each set is only produced for one year, so the supply is limited.
This set honors the following landmarks:
Hot Springs national Park, Arkansas
Yellowstone national Park, Wyoming
Yosemite National Park, California
Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
Mount Hood National Forest, Oregon
The 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set deserves a home equal to the coins’ beauty. The strong plastic display case is just that home. The coins are arranged on a light blue background and sealed in the attractive case to keep dust, fingerprints, and moisture from dulling the brilliant finish of these Proof coins. A Certificate of Authenticity is also included.
Year Issued: 2010
Face Value: $1.25
Now is the perfect time to add this 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set to your collection. This set has been preserved for years and still highlights the beauty of America’s coins. Order yours today.
