# CN2010M - 2010 United States Mint Set, Denver & Philadelphia Mint Marks
Own the 2010 Mint Uncirculated Coin Set –
Includes First Coins in America the Beautiful Quarter Program
This set contains every coin denomination issued in 2010. This includes the first set of five coins in the America the Beautiful Quarter Program. Each coin pictures a National Park on the obverse (tails) side of a Washington quarter. The set also contains the third set in the Presidential Dollar Coins series and the second Native American Dollar, a redesigned Sacagawea Golden Dollar (the reverse side shows the Hiawatha Belt representing the Iroquois Confederacy). The Lincoln cent coin has a new shield design on its reverse side, as well.
Mint sets are produced by the US Mint for the enjoyment of coin collectors. The planchets (blank metal disks that are struck to produce coins) are burnished before being hand loaded into the coining press. They are then placed in special packaging to keep them in uncirculated condition. Each set contains one coin of each denomination and design from each mint that produced coins that year. These mint sets are produced for only one year, so the supply is limited.
The 28 coins in this set are sealed in two blister-style folders. One folder contains the coins issued from the Philadelphia Mint, while the other displays the coins from the Denver Mint. The set comes with a chart describing the specifications of each coin including its design, composition, weight, and more.
This set contains:
2 Native American Dollars
8 Presidential Dollars – honoring Fillmore, Pierce, Buchanan, and Lincoln
2 Kennedy Half Dollars
10 Washington Quarters (paying tribute to Hot Springs, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Mount Hood National Parks)
2 Roosevelt Dimes
