 Portrait Card Honors Benjamin Franklin

This card features:

  • 7 1/2" X 11" card on cardstock
  • A portrait of Franklin at a printing press

     Franklin bought the Pennsylvania Gazette in 1729 and ran it until he retired in 1748.   He became the official printer of paper currency in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  His most famous and profitable publication was Poor Richard's Almanack.
