This cover marks the centennial of the Titanic's fateful voyage across the Atlantic. The stamp featured on the cover (#3191l) is part of the Celebrate the Century - 1990s sheet and honors the blockbuster film made about the ship.

On April 10, 1912, the luxury ship, claimed to be unsinkable, departed from Southampton, England.  Five days later, it sunk in the icy waters of the North Atlantic after colliding with an iceburg.  More than a thousand people lost their lives in the disaster.  This cover is a fitting tribute to that historic ship and will make a neat addition to your collection.
