Cover Commemorates America's Second Trip To The Moon

On November 24, 1969, the Apollo 12 mission began.  During the 10-day mission, astronauts walked on the Moon's surface as the Apollo 11 astronauts had.  This cover features a photo taken before the launch of the crew in front of the lunar module Intrepid. The featured stamp is US #C76, the Moon Landing stamp issued in honor of the first Lunar landing.   This cover is a neat reminder of America's successful space flights to the Moon.
