 Bombing of Nagasaki Commemorated

This cover commemorates the 50th anniversary of the dropping of an atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan.  This was the second atomic bombed dropped on that country in three days.  Admitting defeat, Imperial Japan surrendered on August 15, 1945, bringing World War II to an end.
