This stamp is a repeat of the definitive issued in January 1982 honoring the beginning of the second decade of disarmament. We are now in the third decade of this important endeavor. Disarmament is the most critical component of worldwide peace – and the most difficult to achieve. Fittingly, the design was created by Marek Kwaitkowski of Poland.
