2020 Earth Day Stamps Highlight Environmental Artists
The 2020 Earth Day stamps highlight the talents of six different artists chosen because their “works are influenced by environmental issues.” The stamps, two from each issuing office, were released on April 22, 2020. This day was set aside as Earth Day in 1970.
The 55¢ stamp issued by the New York UN office pictures Forman’s pastel drawing of Linblad Cove in Antarctica. The $1.20 stamp shows Our Changing Seas IV, a stoneware and porcelain sculpture by Courtney Mattison
