Star Trek Gold Key Comics

Gold Key was the first company to produce Star Trek comic books.  For fans of the 1966 television series, these comics were a way to go on more adventures with their favorite characters anytime they wanted.  Between 1967 and 1978, Gold Key printed 61 Star Trek comics.  Some of the covers featured photos from the television series and others featured dramatic original art.

Many of these comics are hard to find today – some sell for hundreds or thousands of dollars!  But you can own stamps picturing some of their exciting covers.  This sheet of six mint stamps pictures:

Issue #1 – "The Planet of No Return" – An expedition team discovers it's secret - too late... K-G, Planet of Death!

Issue #2 – "The Devil's Isle of Space" – Prisoners on the planet of the condemned sentence Captain Kirk to share their fate!

Issue #3 – "Invasion of the City Builders" – AUTOMATED DESTROYERS! Minutes to save a dying planet!

Issue #4 – "The Peril of Planet Quick Change" – An alien form invades the Enterprise through Spock's mind!

Issue #5 – "The Ghost Planet" – Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock save a planet from extinction, but are doomed by its war-mad leaders!

Issue #7 – "The Voodoo Planet" – Voodoo from across space it makes its deadly mark on Earth!

Whether you’re a fan of comics, Star Trek, or worldwide stamps, this sheet will make a great addition to your collection!
