Mint Sheet Featuring
Elvis Presley Film Spinout

Spinout was Elvis Presley’s 22nd film. In it he plays Mike McCoy.

Mike McCoy loves women, singing, and fast cars. On a deserted California road, Mike drives his Cobra off the road and into a stream while racing a beautiful but mysterious young woman.

Mike gets back on the road and makes it to his next gig on time, ready to make money to finance his upcoming Santa Fe race. Among his band members is Les, a female drummer in love with Mike. From the stage, Mike notices a beautiful woman in the audience who’s watching intently.

At the end of the night, a man approaches him and tries to book Mike and his band for his daughter’s birthday party. He’s willing to pay a lot of money, but Mike’s already booked.

Camped out with the band for the night, Mike notices the woman from the audience hidden in the bushes. Confronting her, Mike discovers that she’s author Diana St. Clair. St. Clair is writing a book on the perfect American male, and has chosen him.

The band soon learns that the father who tried to hire them for his daughter’s birthday party has canceled the rest of their tour – and the tour will only be rescheduled if they agree to perform at his party. Because he needs the money for the Santa Fe race, Mike agrees.

When they arrive at the house, Mike discovers that the daughter is the young woman who forced him off the road. Her father is Howard Foxhugh, a famous designer of formula racecars, and the events were all staged to coerce Mike to drive for him in the upcoming race. Mike’s intrigued enough by the beautiful daughter to sing, but leaves without agreeing to race for Foxhugh.

With three women in love with him, the band tries to distract Mike by throwing a wild party. All three women show up and force him to choose. Mike puts them off by telling them he’ll decide after the big race.

Mike pulls off a win at the Santa Fe race, and then plays matchmaker with his admirers – marrying them all off to other men!
