$45,000 Scott Catalog Value Worldwide Collection in Glassine Envelopes – 14 Total Pounds!

Wow. This box is about 75% full with glassines filled with worldwide stamps – there must be a couple thousand glassines here! Previous owner catalogued at $45,000. Each glassine or baggie catalogued individually. Large percentage used but saw many mint stamps mixed throughout. A wide-reaching variety of countries from around the world. Some countries are packaged in zip bags with total catalog value marked on the outside of the bag, some include France at $4,994, Great Britain $384, Spain $1,501, Russia $1,509, Austria $2,044. Sweden, Mexico, Brazil & Belgium each with $600 or more! Only noticed one baggie of US stamps with a wide variety including many back-of-the-book. Overall, duplication looked to be fairly small but some glassines or baggies were filled with the same stamp. Never quite seen anything like this! Would be a great start or addition to any worldwide collection.
