Own a Cover Honoring the 1993 Babe Ruth World Series in Lebanon, Missouri

The Babe Ruth League was founded in 1951 to provide a baseball program for boys between 13 and 15 years of age.  The first year the league had 10 teams.  Today it has grown to include more than one million players on over 60,000 teams in over 11,000 leagues.  It has also expanded to include five divisions – Cal Ripken Baseball (ages 4-12), Babe Ruth Baseball (ages 13-18), Babe Ruth Softball (ages 4-18), Bambino Buddy Ball (ages 5-20), and Xtreme Fastpitch (ages 6-18).

In 1993, Lebanon, Missouri hosted the Bambino division (which later became the Cap Ripken division).  The Connersville, Indiana team won that championship, with one player setting two records – the most home runs in a game (three) and the most runs batted-in in a game (eight).  Get a cover commemorating this neat sports history.  It features the 1992 29¢ Olympic Baseball stamp with a pictorial cancel picturing the league’s namesake, Babe Ruth, and the date and location of the series.  Order yours now.
