Own Genuine Artifacts Chronicling the Reunification of Germany
Fleetwood 1990 Volk Presentation Pak with Two First Day Covers

As a collector, you know the satisfaction of adding real history to your collection.  The 1990 Volk Presentation Pak is just that.  It contains two First Day Covers plus a presentation folder outlining the historic events that led to the reunification of Germany.  Each limited-edition First Day Cover commemorates a milestone leading up to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the joyous reunion between East and West Germany.

1990 St. Nikolai Church First Day Cover

This commemorative set includes a First Day Cover with the 1990 Leipzig Church semi-postal stamp.  The stamp, which pictures historic St. Nikolai Church, pays tribute to the courage of the East Germans who staged weekly demonstrations against the Communist government.  Their peaceful vigils fueled the spirit of revolution and led to the Fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989.

The stamp was issued and canceled by the German Democratic Republic on February 28, 1990 – just days before the first free elections were held.  Surprisingly, the stamp is inscribed “Wir sind das volk!” or “We are the people!” – the very chant that led to the demise of the German Democratic Republic.

Plus Two 1990 German Reunification Commemoratives on FDC

The second First Day Cover bears two March 10, 1990 German Unification commemorative stamps.  The 100-Pfennig stamp satisfied the postal rate for letters posted within West Germany, while the 50-Pfenning stamp paid the rate for letters sent within East Germany.  The stamps, which bear the traditional colors of Germany, were among the first steps the newly reunited government took to commemorate its reunion.

Also Includes Three Mint Stamps with Mounts

Act now and you’ll also get the individual St. Nikolai Church and both German Reunification stamps in mint condition, along with archival-quality mounts.  Plus a crystal-clear protective cover to keep your presentation folder free of dust and fingerprints.
