History the stamp represents: Of all the dinosaur fossils discovered throughout history, Tyrannosaurus rex is, without a doubt, the most famous species. Since the first specimen was found back in 1900, Tyrannosaurus rex has become the unofficial ambassador of dinosaur research worldwide.
