This neat set of 24 stamps includes 15 “G” Rate stamps.  The “G” Rate stamps were the seventh non-denominated letter rate stamps.  These stamps present an exciting challenge – you’ll have lots of fun identifying different formats from four different printers.  These stamps were also issued for different uses, including regular first class mail, post cards and covering the 3¢ difference between the old and new rates. 

Another stamp was also issued in this set to cover the rate change make-up.  The Dove with Olive Branch stamp is the first rate change make-up stamp to picture something (the first stamp only included text).  Also included are the Flag Over Porch and Flag Over Field stamps.
