Jamie Wyeth (the son of artist Andrew Wyeth) based his painting, "A Partridge in a Pear Tree," on the famous English Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Wyeth also gained fame by designing the 1981 and 1984 White House Christmas cards and for his moving portrait of John F. Kennedy.
