 Constitution Bicentennial Cover Highlights Hancock's Role in Ratification

Own this cover marking the bicentennial of the US Constitution, the document that framed America’s government.  It commemorates teh date, October 18, 1787, when Massachusetts Governor John Hancock presented a copy of the proposed Constitution to the state's General Assembly.  He encouraged calling for a ratification convention.  One week later, the assembly adopted a resolution calling for the convention.
