Hussey's Post was a local mail delivery service established by George Hussey in New York City, 1854.  The operation started in Hussey's upstairs office at 82 Broadway, New York and grew to become quite a business.  Hussey mainly dealt with banks, insurance firms, and other businesses for whom he delivered commercial paper, insurance notices, and business correspondences.  The mail was either picked up at the customer's office or dropped off at Hussey's building.

It is said George Hussy was a stamp collector himself, and so frequently issued new varieties of stamps.  Many have been dubbed reprints, but with small differences.  Today you can own a type II U.S. #87L75, issued in 1880.  It is distinguished from other types by the imprinting in the margin below the stamp.  It is a piece of history that you can own for just a few dollars.  Don't miss out, add it to your collection today.
