How to Identify a Counterfeit #807:
Counterfeit #807 is close to the genuine stamp in color, but background lines are less distinct and may be connected by splotches of ink. There are no horizontal gum breakers. Perforations may be irregular, or nonexistant. Genuine #807 stamps were printed using recessed engraving, with disctinct and finely engraved background lines, 11 x 10.5 perforation, and horizontal gum breakers.
