Short-Lived Nova Scotia Stamp Will Make a Neat Addition to Your Collection

Now you can own an interesting piece of history from the Canadian province of Nova Scotia.  Before Canada gained jurisdiction over the small peninsula, Nova Scotia was self-governing.  So from 1851-1863, that meant the British Crown Colony produced its own postage stamps.  When Nova Scotia was added to Canada in 1867, the postal service began using Canadian postage stamps instead. 

This is a fun opportunity for you to own an unusual part of philately, an 1863 8 1/2¢ Queen Victoria stamp, in unused condition with one or two small imperfections that don't detract from its beauty or collectibility.  It was one of the very last stamps issued by Nova Scotia.  Add it to your collection today.
